It is hard to believe that next week is Thanksgiving and then we are done within a week. So for this final push you can concentrate on you final papers...remember one on your research with images of artifacts you have created, and one on what you learned from your classmates. This is the time to focus on your path and what you gained this semester. Go deep. Expand and really reach for your final goal. This needs to be more than a diary of events....what did you gain, what did you decide to leave behind, how does the research serve you. When you write on what you learned form the others you do not need to address each student or you may address the group...again this is your work.
As always if you come to a stumbling block or a delicate issue and you want to contact me directly it is OK.
I have three sets of slides completed, have begun water base screen printing, and working on a new bead/sequin work. Lots of activity.
You are invited to continue to post each week but it is not required. Take time to work on your final.

DeleteWhere are we posting our essays? And besides what you have here and on the syllabus are there any specifications to writing these?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I posted on Future's Nov 16th blog post. Future, I have one more class to take on Dec 6th. When do we have to post our final essays and work? Thank you for a fabulous journey with you and my fellow classmates! This has been a great class!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it has definitely been helpful to be able to follow with everyone!
DeleteStill working on the final design for the chapter that I have been working on. One fun thing that happened to me this past week...my Fine Arts Coordinator asked me if I can help with the committee to choose the next textbook adoptions for our district! I'm sure most people wouldn't think this is interested, but I am curious about the process and what kind of selection we are given. Thank goodness for Thanksgiving break! We only have one game day and morning practices are very easy so I am ready to get a lot of work done!
ReplyDeleteThats an awesome opportunity! Yay!
DeleteAna,
ReplyDeleteHow great to have the chance to give your input on the textbook adoptions for your district.
