Door 1 Side 2

Door 1 Side 2,

The second side of the door represents belonging; here I have myself walking with my family. Side two is the result of my searching and finding my first community.

  1. How are you relating to the audience that this is a Habitat for Humanity door? Is it important for them to know?

  2. Yes, I feel that this information is very important for the audience to know about its background as a Habitat for Humanity door. Habitat is an incredible group of individuals who do so much for our general community. As with all the doors, I would like to have a write up relating to the history of how the door came to me and include the information on the community that painted the door as well.
Back to the story on Habitat: While I was looking at different doors one of the workers asked if I needed any help. So, I told him what I was going to do for an art project. He asked if these had to be doors of good quality and I said that it did not really matter. He directed me to a pile of doors set by the dumpster out in the back and said “there all yours if you want them!” I know these doors were meant to be mine along with being rescued from the landfill.

  3. David if you need more doors, there is one in the back alley by my house I could snag for you if you need it. Just let me know!
